Europa Village is a one of a kind Wine Country destination offering an Old World European experience where service is gracious and unlimited. Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village takes our guests on a culinary journey throughout the country of Spain. Our menu celebrates the centuries old tradition of dining together, tapas style. Tapas are prepared typically in bite size offerings and made to be shared.

Europa Village is looking for a full-time Restaurant Line Cook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Fine dining experience is a plus. Minimum of two years Line Cook experience is a must.

Line Cook Reports to

  • Executive Chef
Responsibilities Specific to Restaurant Cook

  • Possess and live Europa Village core values.
  • Sets up, cleans and organizes work stations.
  • Prepares the menu items following the recipes in accordance with Bolero at Europa Village’s standards.
  • Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of all menus, recipes, food quality standards and regulations.
  • Ascertains that all ingredients and supplies are made available at the beginning of each shift.
  • Takes orders from wait staff or computerized system.
  • Highly skilled at multi-tasking. Able to monitor several items cooking at one time.
  • Ensures that high-quality food items are served every time.
  • Follows all standard food handling, sanitation and health department guidelines.
  • Assists in maintaining and stocking designated stations, freezers, refrigerators and store room with food products daily.
  • Works at a quick pace in order to get food out in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Expectations of the Restaurant Cook

  • Create and foster an environment of “teamwork” by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought.
  • Be able to communicate Europa Village’s story.
  • Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
  • Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean, pressed uniform and appropriate pants and shoes.
  • Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures.
  • Be hospitable, welcoming, and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.
  • Keep eye out for attention to detail.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
