Europa Village Winery is seeking an experienced Banquet Service Team Member to provide authentic and anticipatory service to our dining guests during special events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent customer service and wine with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality.

Banquet Service Team Member Reports To:

  • Banquet Manager
Responsibilities of a Banquet Service Team Member:

  • Possess and live Europa Village core values
  • Reviews and understands the BEO at the beginning of each shift to ensure banquet rooms are set as per client's request
  • Sets up and breaks down tables, chairs, bar, water stations, etc., according to the Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) 
  • Assists in maintaining the scheduling order for each event
  • Prepares tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables and cordial carts with specified tools, wares, and equipment according to Europa Village standards
  • Greets guests warmly
  • Has a good understanding of the food being served and able to answer questions regarding food items
  • Delivers and services welcome drinks, appetizers, meals, condiments and accompaniments
  • Serves beverages
  • Refills water glasses
  • Monitors tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests
  • Responds to guests requests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Assists in washing banquet dishes and supplies following the event
  • Other duties as assigned
Expectations of the Banquet Service Team Member:

  • Create and foster an environment of "teamwork" by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought
  • Able to communicate Europa Village's story
  • Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner
  • Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards with a clean, pressed uniform and appropriate slacks and shoes
  • Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality
  • Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures
  • Be hospitable, welcoming and exhibit at positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Food Handler's Certification required
  • Must be available to work holidays and weekends
Compensation: $23.00 - $23.00 per hour
