Europa Village is looking to fill the position of Facilities Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will be a "jack-of-all-trades," with in-depth knowledge of commercial kitchen repairs and maintenance., plumbing and electrical repairs. This candidate must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

  • Facilities Manager
Responsibilities Specific to Facilities Maintenance Technician:
 
  • Possesses and lives Europa Village core values.
  • Performs routine maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchens.
  • Assists and performs maintenance and repairs in Tasting Rooms and Hotel rooms. 
  • Skilled in plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Ensures all facilities are consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.
  • Conducts maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and changing filters.
  • Assembles, repairs, installs, maintains and moves furniture, appliances and other equipment. 
  • Responds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel and follows safety protocols. 
  • Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
  • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. 
  • Identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to manager.
  • Follows safe working practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required.
  • Monitors inventory, orders supplies, and maintains purchase records according to budget.
  • Maintains records and logs of daily activities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

  • Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures.
  • Be hospitable, welcoming, and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.
  • Scheduled Sunday through Thursday.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays. 
Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
