Calling all Bartenders! If you want to work for a great company that is expanding, apply to work at Europa Village Wineries & Resort. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to fill the position of Bartender for Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years bartending experience.

Responsibilities Specific to Restaurant Bartender

  • Possess and live Europa Village core values. 
  • Greets guests with a smile and eye contact and presents beverage and food menus. Delivers unsurpassed level of customer service to each guest.
  • Makes recommendations and answers all related questions.
  • Responds promptly to requests from guests in a polite and professional manner.
  • Keeps bar area clean, safe, and organized.
  • Takes beverage orders from guests or servers and serves drinks as requested.
  • Mixes drinks using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits, including standard and unique drinks.
  • Develops an efficient work pace that keeps the guests at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times.
  • Follows all state liquor laws and Serving Alcohol with Sense (S.A.W.S.) policies, including proper ID checking, responsible beverage service and ensuring no one under 21 is served alcohol.
  • Keeps a well-stocked bar with adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware and other accessories.
  • Organizes the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory. Inventories beverages before, during, and at the end of each shift.
  • Accurately uses the POS system to record drink orders, prepare checks, and process payments.
  • Slices, pits, and prepares fruit garnishes for drinks.
  • Complies with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies.
  • Disposes of trash throughout the day/evening.
  • Breaks down at the end of the day. Ensures the glasses are washed and stored properly and trash is disposed of and/or recycled.
  • Thoroughly cleans and disinfects the bar equipment.
  • Understands the Societe and Europa Table Culinary Club Memberships and sells them.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Expectations of the Restaurant Bartender

  • Create and foster an environment of “teamwork” by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought.
  • Be able to communicate Europa Village’s story.
  • Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
  • Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean, pressed uniform and appropriate slacks, stockings, and shoes.
  • Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures.
  • Be hospitable, welcoming, and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.
  • Keeps an eye out for attention to detail.
  • Must be available to work holidays and weekends.
Compensation: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
