Europa Village Highlights:

Europa Village Wineries and Resort is a destination location in Temecula Valley Wine Country. We are a hospitality company rooted in family, and we welcome members and guests to enjoy a stay or a day in our European themed villages. We represent the countries of Italy, Spain and France and have multiple tasting rooms, restaurants, event spaces, overnight accommodations, and retail venues on our one-hundred-acre property. Human Resources Coordinator Reports to:
  • Director of Human Resources 
Responsibilities:
  • Posses and Live Europa Village core values.
  • Works directly with and reports to the Director of Human Resources regarding all HR endeavors.
  • Supports HRD in educating employee on and enforcing company policies.
  • Maintains the company's calendar and schedules meetings for the HRD.
  • Updates Europa's Village monthly Employee News Letter.
  • Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, verifying work-history and references, and tracking of new possible candidates through the HRIS.
  • Assist with the new-hire procedures, including organizing and presenting employee orientations, creating new employee files,, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons. 
  • Organizes, maintains and updates employee HRIS as needed. 
  • Makes sure all health and safety regulations are posted and followed, ie: OSHA. 
  • Assist any new or additional training materials to employees and ensures files a kept up to date.
  • Fosters positive employee relations and works to solve any employee issues that surfaces or are broght to the attention of the HR Department. Must adhere to the Confidentiality of each employee. 
  • Comply with HR current employment laws and regulations.
  • Under the lead of the HRD, is a vital source of Human Resources information in answering any questions employee may have.
  • Supports any other special projects, events the HRD needs assistance with.
  • Familiar with Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Expectations of the Human Resources Coordinator.
  • Create and foster a positive environment of "teamwork" by assisting fellow employee or guests without a second thought.
  • Be able to communicate Europa Village's story.
  • Ability to treat all employees and guests  in a respectful manner.
  • Schedule can be subject to change on certain events or trainings. Regular schedule will consist of a weekend day. 
  • At least two years' experience in an administrative role or equivalent.
  • Prefer at least one year experience in an HR Department.
  • Strong computer skill:; Microsoft Office and HRIS experience preferred. 
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish - ability to read, write and speak both languages.
  • Attire - semi casual
  • Be hospitable, welcoming, and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.
  • Confidentiality is a must in the Human Resources Department. Respect each employee's personal information and all in-house transactions. 
  • Keep an eye out for attention to detail where needed. 

Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
