Europa Village Wineries and Resort is a destination location in Temecula Valley Wine Country. We are a hospitality company rooted in family, and we welcome members and guests to enjoy a stay or a day in our European themed villages. We represent the countries of Italy, Spain and France and have multiple event spaces, tasting rooms, restaurants, overnight accommodations, and retail outlets. Our venue is the perfect place for weddings, corporate retreats, and private events providing different experiences through our unique function areas and themed menus. Europa Village is seeking an experienced Banquet Server to provide authentic and anticipatory service to our guests during special events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent customer service with an outgoing, self-motivated, and energetic personality. This is a part-time hourly position with a Company that operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year with the majority of events taking place on weekends. A successful candidate must be available and willing to work as needed outside of "regular" business hours.

Responsibilities of a Banquet Server:

  • Possess and live Europa Village core values
  • Review and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) at the beginning of each shift to ensure banquet rooms are set as per client's request
  • Assists in maintaining the scheduled order of activities for each event
  • Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables with specified tools, wares, and equipment according to Europa Village standards
  • Greet guests warmly
  • Have a good understanding of the food and beverages being served and able to answer questions regarding these items
  • Deliver and serve welcome drinks, appetizers, meals, beverages, condiments and accompaniments
  • Monitors tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests
  • Responds to guests requests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Ensures the entire table is served at the same time
  • Other duties as assigned
Expectations of the Banquet Server:

  • Create and foster an environment of "teamwork" by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought
  • Able to communicate Europa Village's story
  • Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner
  • Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards with a clean, pressed uniform and appropriate slacks and shoes
  • Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality
  • Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures
  • Be hospitable, welcoming and exhibit at positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Food Handler's and responsible beverage service certifications required
  • Must be available to work holidays and weekends
Compensation: $24.00 per hour
